In August 2005, I have the chance to stay in Calp in a workcamp. There a lot of people started the legend of the "Calpe Diem".

This september, 4 years later, some of the members of that spirit met again. The place chosen was Galicia (Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña). The excuse: Youna, a French friend decided to visit Spain. The route:

Friday: Arrive in Santiago de Compostela. Talk a long time and had party using special flyers (Paris-Dakar?).

Saturday: Visit Santiago when the weather allowed us. Buy a cheese and be ripped off by an old farmer woman. Go to A Coruña (fast train!). Have party drinking using a Porron and eating peanuts.

Sunday: sleep ... and visit A Coruña , specially the Tower of Hercules (so big!).

The Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso is an eighteenth-century palace, situated in the small town of San Ildefonso in the hills near Segovia, 80 km north of Madrid. The palace is in a restrained baroque style surrounded by extensive gardens in the French manner and sculptural fountains.

Only three times per year all twenty-six fountains are set to play, providing a memorable show:

Remember to follow the man with the Spanish flag, because he is showing the route to the next fountain that will play.

So, this year, as 25th July was Saturday, we took the chance to go to "the fountains show". And after that, and a magician show, we went to Segovia in order to make a little visit (I have to wait for Cochinillo to the next visit).

From 2 to 9 of July, I went (with other mates) to Naples (Campania, Italy) in order to attend a course called Aventura Emprendedora Social. It was a really nice experience where I shared time with people from other associations and organizations, from Spain and of course from Italy. How I met the Castellers de Cornella

The day after the wedding of Manu and Bea, I went to Cornella again. My idea was to see in live a Castell (a human tower built traditionally in festivals at many locations within Països Catalans). During my no-direction walk, I met Esteve Aguado, the president of the colla Castellers de Cornellá (the group of people who do the castells), who explained me a lot of things around the castells, the castellers and so on.

He introduced me to the other member of the colla, and I felt like a part of the group. In fact, I did my bit, helping in the 'pinya' (the base part of the castell). It was a great experience.

So I want to thank Esteve (and the other colla's members ) for the time that he spent during that evening with me.

Last 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday), I have attended a Vulcano meeting at European Software Institute (ESI), in Zamudio (Vizcaya/Bizkaia).
So, I had a chance to meet Xavi (from Luleå) and Arkaitz (from Villacarralon) in Bilbao during the evening. Thanks for the unforgettable dinner in a typical Euskal place: El Fresco.
